EPIK 100 - Call for applications: During AFCON, EPIK Leaders highlights 100 emerging African leaders.

30 december 2025

On the sidelines of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), the association EPIK Leaders will launch EPIK 100, a pan-African distinction designed to recognize 100 committed young Africans, whose profiles will be selected based on the coherence of their journeys, their civic and community engagement, and their determination to contribute positively to the development of their communities.

Through EPIK 100, EPIK Leaders seeks to pursue and strengthen its commitment to African youth by offering a framework that is structured, supportive, and demanding, designed to accompany the early stages of leadership and encourage long-term engagement.

A Selection Based on Commitment and Potential

The 100 EPIK 100 laureates will be selected following a rigorous process, within EPIK Leaders clubs and partner networks, based on several key criteria, including:

  • a structured and consistent record of community or associative engagement;
  • concrete actions already undertaken in service of the public interest;
  • coherence between personal, academic, and civic pathways;
  • the ability to engage collectively and lead initiatives.

EPIK 100 will therefore recognize emerging leadership trajectories, carried by a generation fully aware of Africa’s challenges and determined to address them through action.

A Ceremony of Recognition and Award Presentation

Held in Morocco during AFCON, the EPIK 100 Ceremony will mark a significant moment of recognition for the 100 laureates, through the presentation of a symbolic trophy honoring their commitment and the first actions undertaken in service of their communities, in fields such as education, entrepreneurship, social innovation, environment, or health.

Beyond the awards, the ceremony is designed as a networking platform, fostering connections between young leaders, mentors, companies, institutional stakeholders, and pan-African partners, while opening the door to collective reflections on future projects.

EPIK 100 in Continuity with the EPIK Leaders Mission

Conceived as a moment of collective recognition, EPIK 100 fully aligns with the mission of EPIK Leaders, which aims to highlight the engagement of African youth and support them in their early leadership trajectories across the continent.

Beyond its symbolic dimension, EPIK 100 seeks to encourage sustained engagement, strengthen ties between EPIK Leaders clubs, and promote exchanges between local initiatives and pan-African dynamics.

Through this initiative, EPIK Leaders contributes to structuring a pan-African network of young leaders, ambassadors of cooperation, innovation, and civic engagement within their respective countries.

Selection Criteria – EPIK 100

The selection process will be conducted by a pan-African jury based on the following criteria:being a student;

  • being under 30 years of age;
